Who are we, where do we come from, and where are we heading?

The current electrical grids are changing rapidly. The increase in energy demand, the use of clean energy sources, and new technologies make it necessary to reconsider current energy infrastructures and markets.

Since our inception in 2007 as designers and manufacturers of electronic equipment for locating and mapping electrical distribution networks, we have always been on the lookout for new opportunities that emerging technologies can offer to the electric distribution sector. The new energy paradigms, with the integration of sensors into the grids (Smart Grids), allowed us to take a step further and focus all our innovation on the digitalization and value generation of electrical distribution networks.

Currently, ARIADNA is a software development company whose expertise extends beyond the use of new AI and data analytics technologies. Our solutions and services cover highly relevant use cases for electric companies, such as network topology detection, automaticupdating of GIS databases, power flow and voltage drop calculations, congestion point detection, energy balance, and tamper detection in meters, among others.

At Ariadna, we work with the goal of optimizing the capacity of existing distribution networks, supporting electric companiesinthe digital transformation of their networks. We develop solutions focused on Smart Grids, enabling the massive integration of electric vehicles, renewable energy sources, and all future elements that evolve within electrical grids.
